3.13 Pinot Noir 2005

3.13 Pinot Noir Mt Bera Vineyards Adelaide HillsOf medium depth with a clean, bright colour.

Bouquet is of dark cherry fruit, dried herbs and low level spice of clove and cinnamon.

There is some stalky sappiness which is positively herbal.

Slight earthy development, but with good pure varietal fruit.

The palate has a sweet, dark cherry, plum fruit core with a quite firm tannin frame.

Acid is evident which along with slightly firm tannins gives a good tight structure.

Check this wine out again in a few years.
