Ask any Cabernet aficionado and they will tell you that the best wines are those that come from vineyards which do not require irrigating. This allows for a natural balance of juice and sugars.
Therefore, we are quite proud that the Mt Bera Cabernet Sauvignon vines were only irrigated for their first two vintages. We did this to give them a solid start and now they have become one with their terroir.
A total of 4.22 Ha was planted in 1997 and the clone is SA125.
